What the network sees

Most VPNs are easy to spot. This one looks like a website.

Schools, offices, hotels and some countries block VPNs by recognizing how they connect. WaterVPN uses Reality, so your connection looks like someone visiting a real, popular site.

Looks like ordinary HTTPS

Reality borrows the TLS handshake of a real, popular website. To a filter, your connection looks like someone browsing it.

Probes get a real website

If anyone connects to our server without your key, they're passed straight through to that real site, so the server looks like an ordinary website.

No double encryption

XTLS Vision passes traffic that's already encrypted straight through instead of wrapping it twice, which keeps the overhead low.

Where you come out

Connect from anywhere. Come out on a 5G line in New York.

Your traffic leaves through a T-Mobile SIM in a real 5G modem. To the sites you visit, you look like one more person on their phone, not a server in a data center.

How is WaterVPN different from other VPNs?

Two ways. Your traffic leaves through a real T-Mobile 5G line instead of a data center, so sites see a mobile user. And the connection uses VLESS with Reality, which looks like ordinary HTTPS to the network you're on, so it gets through filters that stop regular VPNs.

Where are the servers?

Our exits are in New York. Each one is a 5G modem with its own T-Mobile SIM. The app and your dashboard list them as New York #1, #2 and so on.

Will it work on networks that block VPNs?

That's what it's built for. Reality makes your connection look like a visit to a real, popular website, and anyone who probes our server gets that website back. No VPN is impossible to block, but WaterVPN is much harder to spot than WireGuard or OpenVPN.

Do you keep logs?

We don't log the sites you visit, your DNS lookups or the contents of your traffic. We keep what we need to run your account, like your email address and your subscription. The privacy policy has the details.

Is the data really unlimited?

Yes. There's no data cap and we don't throttle you. Each 5G line is shared by a small, capped number of people, so your speed depends on the signal and how busy the line is.

How many devices can I use?

One device can be connected at a time on each account. You can install the app on as many of your devices as you like and switch between them.

How does the free trial work?

Create an account and you get 7 days free, with no card. When you're ready, choose monthly or annual from the billing page in your dashboard. If you don't, the trial simply ends.

How do I pay, cancel or get a refund?

Plans are paid by card through Stripe. You can change or cancel your plan from your dashboard at any time.

Annual plans can be refunded within 30 days of purchase. The terms have the details.
